I forget who I got this from but here it is!

1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Lost 11 pounds [and gained them back...]

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more
for next year?
I kept some, I didn't keep others.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Former very close friends.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My great grandmother.

5. What countries did you visit?
None, not even USA.

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
A new body.

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 9, 2005; August 20, 2005.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a job in my field, paying off my studentline of credit, making payments towards my OSAP, buying a computer!

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not getting my license, not getting a permanent job, not making the lifestyle change necessary to lose weight permanently.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, thank you GOD.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My digital camera [until I lost it not even 2 months later].

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
I don't really know; there are a few.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
She reads this blog. I wasn't depressed, just steaming mad.

14. Where did most of your money go?
To paying off my student line of credit! And, towards that most intangible of things, stuff. Oh, and my computer!

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Jovana's wedding.

16. What song will always remind you of 2005?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. happier or sadder? happier [I'm still alive and kicking!]

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercise; I sort of stopped doing that in June or July; job hunting.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Eating sugar, working part time.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With my immediate family [mom, dad, sister, 2 brothers], quietish day with plenty of church time because Christmas falls on a Sunday.

22. Did you fall in love in 2005?
Sort of, but it turns out it was only a crush.

23. How many one-night stands?
Zero!

24. What was your favorite TV program?
I think I watched less tv in 2005 than ever before and that's saying a lot. I just don't watch tv...computers are more my thing.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah...back in August I might have said "yup".

26. What was the best book you read?
Something Borrowed and Something Blue, Emily Giffin.

27. What was your greatest musical (re)discovery?
Divine Brown, Tracy Chapman, John Legend.

28. What did you want and get?
An MP3 player.

29. What did you want and not get?
The Canon A620 or S2 IS [digital camera].

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
The Notebook.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
We went to the Southern Cross with many of the same people from last year,with one addition who turned out to be a bit weird. Then we went downtown and danced some of the night away.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If I had gotten my driver's license.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Uninspired.

34. What kept you sane?
My family [though they also drove me insane] and God [when I remembered to pray].

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Yuck. I think that is the biggest waste of time.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
None. I think that is the biggest waste of time. [hehehe...I really need to read up on politics and know what's going on]

37. Who did you miss?
My grandma; "the one who got away".

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Louise L.

Life can be short, make the most of your time here.
